Bertold Kamm

Bertold Kamm (born May 10, 1926 in Schorndorf ; † March 9, 2016 in Nuremberg ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Kamm, Gottlob Kamm's eldest son , attended elementary school and two high schools in Schorndorf and Stuttgart - Bad Cannstatt . He was active as an air force helper and in the Reich Labor Service and was in Gestapo custody for some time . From 1944 on he was active in the army with the paratroopers, until the end of 1946 he was a British prisoner of war. After the Second World War , Kamm studied law and social sciences in Tübingen and Erlangen / Nuremberg in preparation for working as a social worker. He then managed various youth residences in Nuremberg and was managing director of the Nuremberg workers' welfare as well as a lecturer at the HWF Nuremberg and a lecturer at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences . He was a board member of the Institute for Social Policy and Labor Law in Munich and from 1978 to 1989 he was state chairman of the Bavarian workers' welfare organization.

From 1966 to October 22, 1986, Kamm was a member of the Bavarian state parliament . From 1978 he was the 1st Vice President of Parliament.

Bertold was married to Ruth Kamm and has two daughters.
