Bettina Dittlmann
Bettina Dittlmann (* 1964 in Passau ) is a German silver and metal smith and artist .
Life
In 1983 Bettina Dittlmann began an apprenticeship as a silversmith at the State Vocational School in Neugablonz . After completing her apprenticeship, she moved to the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich , one of the most important art schools in Germany. There she started her studies with Hermann Jünger in the jewelry and equipment class. From 1989 to 1991 he studied abroad at SUNY - State University of New York in New Paltz. In 1993 Dittlmann completed her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Otto Künzli with a diploma. She then remained Künzli's assistant for three years. From 1999 Dittlmann was visiting professor for one year at the State University of Oregon in Eugene .
In 1998 Bettina Dittlmann started working with Michael Jank for her project "FORIMER RINGS". The project continues to this day.
