Bilal Arular (born October 15, 1949 in Sakarya ) is a former Turkish football player and coach. He played almost his entire career for Eskişehirspor and was involved in some important successes in the club's history. Through his many years of service for this club and as a home grown man, he is considered one of the most important players in the club's history. With 250 first division appearances for Eskişehirspor, he is the player with the third - highest number of Süper Lig appearances in the club's history.
Player career

Arular started his professional career in the 1972/73 season at Eskişehirspor , the first division club in his hometown Eskişehir. Before this season he was added to the professional squad as a supplementary player with other young players such as Yenal Kaçıra from the youth department. Here he made his professional debut in the UEFA Cup match against Fiorentina on December 13, 1972 . With his club, he finished the season behind Galatasaray Istanbul and Fenerbahçe Istanbul as third in the table and thus belonged to the team that was able to repeat the second-best first division placement in the club's history. Arular completed 14 competitive games in this first season. With his second season he finally rose to become a regular player and finished them with 38 competitive appearances together with Kaçıra as the player with the most competitive appearances.
He played for Eskişehirspor until the summer of 1982 and moved to the second division Gençlerbirliği Ankara after missing relegation . With this club he ended the second division season 1982/83 as a champion and helped this after 14 years of abstinence the return of Türkiye 1. Futbol Ligi . After promotion, Arular played another season in the 1st Lig for Gençlerbirliği and then ended his career.
National team
Arular was nominated for the first time and for the squad of the Turkish national team in 1978 as part of a test match against the national team of the USSR by national coach Metin Türel and made his international debut in this match.
Overall, he completed an A international match for Turkey.
Coaching career
Arular began his coaching career in 1997 as a youth coach at Fenerbahçe Istanbul . He then worked at Sarıyer SK and Artvin Hopaspor as an assistant trainer and assisted a. a. Mehmet Demirtaş . After working as a junior coach at Eyüpspor , he worked as head coach for the Istanbul amateur club Çatalcaspor for the first time in 2007 .
