Bilal Hussein (born April 22, 2000 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish football player of Somali descent.

Career

Bilal Hussein grew up in the Stockholm suburb of Hjulsta . He started playing soccer at Bromstens IK. He later joined AIK Solna's junior academy . After signing his first professional contract in January 2018, Hussein made his Allsvenskan debut in a 2-0 win against IK Sirius at the end of April 2018 . In August 2018 he switched to the partner club Vasalunds IF on loan .

National team

Bilal Hussein played twelve games for the Swedish U-19 national team . On March 22, 2019, he played for the U-21 for the first time in the 2-0 defeat in the friendly against Russia .
