history

Bingo Airways was founded in 2011 in Poland by various investors and business people. Marek Sidor, who previously held managerial positions at LOT Polish Airlines and its regional subsidiary euroLOT, became the company's head. The airline wanted to offer charter flights from Poland to various holiday destinations. Shortly after the company was founded, a leasing contract for the first aircraft was signed with MCAP .

After the aircraft, previously en route for Turkish Izair , had been serviced and repainted in Bournemouth , it left the maintenance hangar on April 17th and was transferred to Poland shortly afterwards. On May 18, 2012, Bingo Airways finally made its maiden flight from Katowice to Hurghada.

Bingo Airways ceased operations in mid-June 2014 after the Polish supervisory authorities revoked its operating license.

Destinations

Bingo Airways mainly focused on charter flights from its two bases in Warsaw and Katowice to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean region such as Egypt , Turkey , Greece , Spain or Tunisia . Bingo Airways also offered ad hoc charter flights.
