OLT Express Regional Sp. Z oo (previously Jet Air and OLT Jetair ) was a Polish regional airline based in Warsaw and based at Gdansk Lech Wałęsa Airport .
history
Jet Air was founded in Warsaw in 2001 and started out as a broker in business aviation for a number of small local companies.
In the winter of 2005/06, scheduled flights were started on behalf of LOT .
On May 30, 2011, flight operations were discontinued at short notice and until further notice. In July and August 2011, the investment company Amber Gold took over 70% of the company and 100% of Ostfriesische Lufttransport ( OLT for short ) . Both companies should be continued separately. In September 2011 the name was changed to OLT Jetair, since February 2012 the company has been called OLT Express Regional.
In July 2012, the company's license was revoked and the company then filed for bankruptcy .
Destinations
OLT Express Regional served - together with its sister company OLT Express Poland - destinations within Poland including Katowice and Gdansk . In other European countries, Berlin-Tegel , Hamburg , Bremen , Brussels and Prague were also served .
