The Roman Catholic Diocese of Berhampur ( lat. : Dioecesis Berhampurensis ) is in India situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Brahmapur (Berhampur).
history
The diocese Berhampur was on January 24, 1974 by Pope Paul VI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Verba Iesu Christi from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar and subordinated to this as a suffragan .
On April 11, 2016, there were territorial shares for the establishment of the Rayagada diocese .
