The diocese Catanduva ( Latin Dioecesis Catanduvensis , Portuguese Diocese de Catanduva ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Catanduva in the state of São Paulo .
history
The diocese of Catanduva was established on December 23, 2000 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Venerabiles Fratres from ceding territories from the dioceses of Jaboticabal , Rio Preto and São Carlos and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Ribeirão Preto as a suffragan .
