The Diocese of Cuautitlán ( lat. : Dioecesis Cuautitlanensis , span. : Diócesis de Cuautitlan ) is in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese based in Cuautitlan .
history
The diocese of Cuautitlán was established on February 5, 1979 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Conferentia Episcopalis Mexicana from cedings of the dioceses of Tlalnepantla and Texcoco . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Tlalnepantla as a suffragan .
On June 9, 2014, territorial shares for the establishment of the Diocese of Izcalli were assigned.
