The Bistum Lashio ( lat. : Dioecesis Lashioensis ) is an in Myanmar preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Lashio .
history
The diocese of Lashio was on November 20, 1975 by Pope Paul VI. Erected from the cession of territory by the Kengtung diocese as the Apostolic Prefecture of Lashio . On July 7, 1990, the Lashio Apostolic Prefecture was raised to a diocese by Pope John Paul II and made a suffragan subordinate to the Archdiocese of Mandalay .
