The Diocese of Marilia ( Latin Dioecesis Mariliensis , Portuguese Diocese de Marilia ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Marilia in the state of São Paulo .

history

The Diocese of Marília was founded on February 16, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ad Episcoporum munus from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Lins and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Botucatu as a suffragan .
