The Bistum Soroti ( lat. : Dioecesis Sorotiensis ) is in Uganda preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Soroti .
history
The diocese of Soroti was established on November 29, 1980 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad spiritualem from cessions of territory from the diocese of Tororo . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Tororo as a suffragan .
