The Diocese of Virac ( lat. : Dioecesis Viracensis ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese based in Virac .
history
The diocese of Virac was founded on May 27, 1974 by Pope Paul VI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Divino Christi from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Legazpi and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Caceres as a suffragan .
It includes the province of Catanduanes .
