Then tractors have to be assigned to transport the coal with the help of carts , horses or mine railways. In the coal seam rocks located can be blown up with rock tusks out of the way. Immediately after the coal has been mined, the areas must be supported by wooden or steel supports so that they do not injure the miners with broken buttresses at the end of the round . It is also important to ensure that there are never more than 30 unfilled struts at the end of a round. For this purpose, another place can be set up from which filling material ( overburden ) must be filled into struts that are no longer required. The Steiger is responsible for supervising and maintaining the miners' morale .

At the end of the round, current events or occurrences are reported, such as firedamp , sick leave of workers and coal price developments.

In the next round, the mined coal is in storage and can either be sold directly on the domestic or foreign market (Belgium / Holland, but not during the First World War) or processed into coke in coking plants that can be purchased separately , which have higher yields can bring to the market. Should it happen that one finds underground that z. If, for example, all wooden or steel supports or the filling material are used up, a mining accident is inevitable. The same happens if too few people have been assigned to fill the existing filling material. In easy mode, you have two options to climb into the pit and, if necessary, you can buy some more or hire additional people.
