Building description
The three-storey late baroque building with a mansard hipped roof bears a remarkable representation of the imperial eagle with the imperial insignia in the tail gable field on the east side , which was intended to emphasize the architectural and topographical location in the center of the city. A limestone plaque depicting an ax and a severed hand and the inscription Kaiserliche Freiheit 1766 once warned the special peace district in the market area. On the northeast side of the building there is a curbstone from the 18th century. There is a front staircase on the south side. The facade is structured with pilaster strips and has a tail gable . A golden unicorn sits enthroned above the portal on the north side of the house .
