The Premyer Liqasi 2010/11 , officially for a sponsorship agreement Unibank Premyer Liqasi called, was the nineteenth season of the highest Azerbaijani league for football men since its founding in 1,992th
The first round of the season began on August 7, 2010 and ended on February 27, 2011 when the 22nd matchday was held. Both the championship games and the relegation games began on March 12th with the 23rd matchday. The last championship games were played on May 18, the last relegation games on May 19.

First round
In the first round of the season, the twelve clubs played the participation in the championship games among themselves. This required a placement in the first half of the table. The clubs that frequented the second half of the table after the 22nd matchday had to compete in the relegation games in the second round of the season.
In addition to the table first Neftçi Baku PFK , the clubs FK Xəzər Lənkəran , FK Qarabağ Ağdam , İnter Baku , AZAL PFK Baku and FK Baku qualified for the games for the Azerbaijani championship. The table seventh FK Qəbələ missed the qualification for the championship games and had accordingly together with the clubs of the last five table ranks ( FK Mughan Salyan , FK Gəncə , PFK Turan Tovuz , PFK Simurq Zaqatala and MOİK Baku PFK ) in the second round of the season against relegation second highest division, the Birinci Divizionu , play.

Second round
Championship round
The Neftçi Baku PFK was able to expand its lead over the table runner-up FK Xəzər Lənkəran to seven points in the course of the championship games and thus decided the Azerbaijani championship for themselves. The championship also means participation in the qualifying matches for the UEFA Champions League . In addition to the runner-up and cup winners FK Xəzər Lənkəran , the clubs FK Qarabağ Ağdam and AZAL PFK Baku also reached the qualifying matches for the UEFA Europa League . Both the reigning champions İnter Baku and FK Baku , however, missed the European starting places.

Relegation round
In addition to seventh FK Qəbələ , the clubs FK Gəncə and PFK Turan Tovuz secured themselves relegation. The FK Mughan Salyan had to withdraw due to financial problems. The PFK Simurq Zaqatala , who was the penultimate still held the class, benefited from this . Newcomer MOİK Baku PFK was the last to relegate to the Birinci Divizionu .
