Description and history

The Blocksberg is covered by the forest of the Calvörde forest. For a long time it was a point of contention between Calvanders and Böddenseller. The mountain is on the side of the Amt Calvörde and nevertheless the Böddensellern cut their wood (such as construction timber or firewood) here. The dispute never escalated because the Duke of the Free State of Braunschweig was related to the King of Prussia .
