action

A man is stabbed to death in Lisbon . It was a contact person for the influential Valdez, who lives in Mozambique . The man is carrying a briefcase with details of the Valdez family's secret accounts around the world. The sums amount to several million Swiss francs . Inspector Commarro, who has long been on the heels of Valdez and his gang of drug smugglers, starts a letter from Valdez to pilot Brad Webster in Lisbon, in which Valdez offers him work. He gets in touch with Brad. He accepts the job, since he has been on the black list of airlines since a plane crash in which only he survived and does not receive any job offers.

On the plane, Brad meets blonde Christina who, like him, will work for Valdez: She was hired as a singer for the Hotel Valdez. Everything has changed in Mozambique in a short time. Valdez died surprisingly the day before his arrival, but his widow Ilona is not sad, Valdez was hated by everyone. He is now being replaced by Da Silva. Brad and Christina join his service. She has to quickly realize that working as a singer really means prostitution. Above all, a rich Arab has it in for them, he “collects” blond cargo for his villa. Christina can escape him on the first day and save herself to Brad. But when he goes on a messenger flight with Silva's partner Henderson to secretly transport "medication", Christina is kidnapped by the Arab. Brad looks for it in vain. On the second flight, Brad brings Da Silva to Zanzibar. They unload boxes and Brad recognizes the sheikh. He follows his employees to the palace, where he can free Christina from the man's clutches at the last second. Da Silva manages to escape from the island, but the aircraft engine threatens to go out over the sea. After making an emergency landing on a deserted island, Brad repairs the plane whose engine had been tampered with. He and Christine then go swimming and find Da Silva stabbed to death on their return. Back at the airport, they are arrested as murderers, but released soon after Commarro interrogates them. Brad is able to find the real killer a little later: It is a short knife thrower who also stabbed the man in Lisbon.

Commarro has the bag with the secret bank account lists with him and gives it to Ilona. However, they are stolen by Henderson, who tries to escape across the border with the data. Brad and Christina, Ilona and Commarro follow Henderson to Victoria Falls , over which a bridge spans the border. Here it comes to a wild chase between Henderson and Brad, which ends with a daring act of climbing on the bridge: Henderson loses his balance and falls with the files into the depths. Although Commarro suspects that Ilona provoked Henderson's death because he knew too much, and is also involved in the gang's drug deals, she cannot prove anything. Instead, Commarro arrests her for the murder of her husband, who died of arsenic poisoning. During later interrogations, Ilona admits the murder and the murder assignments. Brad is out of work again because of the arrest. He receives two return flight tickets to Lisbon from Commarro because Christina is traveling back with him.
