The Blumenthal nature reserve is located on the territory of the municipality of Prötzel in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg .

The approximately 135 ha area with the identification number 1102 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of May 1, 1984 . The nature reserve with the Großer Pichesee extends southwest, west, northwest and north of Blumenthal , a part of the municipality of Prötzel. The B 168 runs along the southern edge of the area and the Blumenthalsee extends to the south-east .
