Bob McCarron
Robert "Bob" McCarron , OAM (born July 1950 in Hammersmith , London , England ) is an Australian special effects artist , makeup artist and trained paramedic . In German-speaking countries he is known primarily as “Dr. Bob "from RTL - TV show I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! known.
Life
McCarron began his career as a filmmaker in 1977 as a makeup artist on a special produced in Australia on the Benny Hill Show. For two years he worked on the special effects of the film drama Just Out of Reach with Sam Neill in the lead role. His next film was George Miller's Mad Max II . He worked for many well-known Australian film directors such as Phillip Noyce and Peter Weir in the 1980s . In 1992 he presented as a makeup artist prostheses for Peter Jackson's horror film Brain Dead ago, a year later, he woke up the three Oscars excellent British film drama The Piano this area of the mask image. In 1999 he worked as a special effects makeup artist on the American action film Matrix, which received four Oscars . The wildlife biologist and paramedic with degrees in nursing and emergency medicine has been working on the TV show I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here! or their original British version I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! With.
2020 McCarron had on RTL his own mission Dr. Bob's Australia , in which he showed Evelyn Burdecki and Thorsten Legat beautiful and interesting places in Australia.

In 2004 he received the Medal of the Order of Australia .
