Bocuse d'Or ("Golden Bocuse") is an international cooking competition that has been held in Lyon every two years since 1987 .

General

The competition was founded by the French three-star chef Paul Bocuse . Prizes are awarded in the gold, silver and bronze categories.

Well-known award winners in German-speaking countries were Hans Haas (bronze 1987), Léa Linster (gold 1989) and Patrik Jaros (bronze 1995).
