Léa Linster
Léa Linster (born April 27, 1955 in Differdange ) is a Luxembourgish cook , restaurateur , TV cook and author of cookbooks .
Life
After graduating from high school, Léa Linster initially studied law , but in 1982, after the death of her father, took over his inn in Frisingen , about 15 km south of Luxembourg City , and opened it as the “Lea Linster” restaurant. She obtained the Certificat d'aptitude professionnelle cuisinier (professional qualification) and a master’s diploma and sat in with Paul Bocuse , Joël Robuchon and Frédy Girardet . In 1987 her restaurant was awarded one star for the first time by the Michelin Guide . Two years later she won the Bocuse d'Or . In 1991 Linster opened another restaurant in the Grand Duchy, "Das Kaschthaus" in Hellingen .
Since 2001 she has been writing a column for the German women's magazine Brigitte . From 2004 to January 2008, she had a TV show entitled Leas KochLUST on SR TV . In the Saarbrücken edition of the television series Tatort , she appeared in 2006 and 2007 in the episodes From the dream and The dead from the roadside as "Linde landlady". She is also known as an author of cookbooks .
Linster also appears frequently in the program ZDF-Fernsehgarten , and from time to time she also performs the afternoon series Die Küchenschlacht of the ZDF . She was also a frequent guest on the ZDF program Lanz cooks , which has since been discontinued . Her program Kachtipp mam Léa Linster is broadcast on the Luxembourg television RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg . It was in 2013 and 2014. Coach and juror in the Sat.1 - cooking show The Taste with and worked in 2016 and 2018 in this show as Gastjurorin.
Linster is single and has a son, Louis , who was born on August 21, 1990, and to whom she handed over the business in 2019. He cooked himself a star in his first year.
