Bodendorf is a village and at the same time the only cadastral community of Katsdorf in Upper Austria's Mühlviertel .
Bodendorf is 290 m above sea level. A. It takes its name from the former Pottendorf Palace. (These Pottendorfer, however, belonged to the lower nobility and are not related to the namesake of the Lower Austrian town of Pottendorf .)
Bodendorf lies between Breitenbruck , the municipality of Wartberg ob der Aist , Nöbling and the river Gusen .
