Career

The career of Pătraşcu began at the Bucharest club Sportul Studențesc , where he came into the first team squad during the 1996/97 season and played his first game in Divizia A on June 7, 1997 . At the end of the following season he was relegated with his club from the highest Romanian league. In Divizia B, he fought for a regular place and in 2000, when he was third, he missed the return to the House of Lords.

In the winter break 2000/01 Pătraşcu left Sportul and moved to the Bulgarian A Grupa to Litex Lovech . With his new club he won the Bulgarian Cup in 2001. After a year he moved to Piacenza Calcio in the Italian Serie A at the beginning of 2002 . In Piacenza he was initially unable to assert himself and only rose to become a regular player after relegation in 2003 . In the following years, the club placed in the midfield of Serie B and was able to play for the first time in the 2006/07 season , but missed the return to the House of Lords in fourth place.

In the 2008/09 season Pătraşcu was first loaned to Serie A at Chievo Verona , where he only came on two missions. In the second half he played for Calcio Padova in Serie C . There he succeeded in climbing. After returning to Piacenza, he finally moved to Padua in August 2009, but rose again with the club at the end of the season .

Pătraşcu then returned to Romania to his previous club Sportul Studențesc, who had just been promoted to League 1 . For the 2010/11 winter break , he finished last in the table when Pătraşcu moved to league rivals Dinamo Bucharest . There, however, he could not prevail and left the club again in the winter break of 2011/12 . He joined the first division club Astra Ploiesti . In the summer of 2012 he went to league competitor Universitatea Cluj . He left this after six months and joined CS Buftea in Liga II, which was renamed FC Academica Clinceni in the summer of 2013 .
