Borja García

Borja García (born December 15, 1982 in Valencia , Spain ) is a Spanish racing driver .

He started his career in karting in 1993, where he stayed until 1999. In 2000 he switched to the Spanish Formula Toyota , in which he immediately took the title, before moving to Formula Nissan 2000 in 2001. There he drove for the Campos team , which is now part of the GP2 series . He stayed in Formula Nissan until 2002, in which he drove for the two teams Esuela Lois and Venturini, while in between he also drove in the Spanish Formula 3 for the GTA team.

In 2003 he drove the entire Spanish Formula 3 season with the same team before moving to Racing Engineering in 2004 . With this team he immediately won the title. Despite his success, he stayed with the team when it switched to the GP2 series in 2005 . There was his teammate Neel Jani . In the 2005 season , however, the success failed, García was only 14.

In 2006 he switched to Formula Renault 3.5 for Team RC Motorsport . Success came back and García was runner-up. This brought him back to the GP2 series in 2007, where he drove for Team Durango and finished the season in tenth place.
