The Bottschlotter See (Danish: Botslot Sø ; North Frisian: Butschluuter Siie ) is a shallow lake in Fahretoft , a district of the municipality of Dagebüll in Schleswig-Holstein . The lake is the remainder of a creek and was created in 1633 when the Bottschlotter Kooges was dyed . Today the lake is used to drain the surrounding fields . The Bottschlotter See belongs to the Eider river basin district . Immediately to the south is the Blumenkoog .
