Boschidar Kraew ( Bulgarian Божидар Краев , FIFA spelling after English transcription: Bozhidar Kraev ; born June 23, 1997 in Wraza ) is a Bulgarian football player who has been under contract with FC Midtjylland since the summer of 2017 . The winger has been a Bulgarian international since March 2017 .

Boschidar Kraew started playing football at his hometown club, FC Botew Wraza , at the age of six . After he then played at FC Vilafranca , among others , he moved to Levski Sofia's youth in January 2013 . In the first team he made his debut on July 19, 2014 in the game against Lokomotiv Plovdiv . On September 23, 2014, he scored a hat trick in a 7-1 victory in the cup match against Spartak Varna . On October 14th he was listed as one of the 40 most promising talents in the world by The Guardian newspaper . On February 27, 2015 Kraew scored his first league goal for Levski in the game against FC Haskovo . On April 9, 2017, he scored four goals in a 5-0 win against Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

On June 19, Boschidar Kraew signed a five-year contract with the Danish Superliga club FC Midtjylland . The club from Herning paid a transfer fee of 500,000 euros for Kraew's services. He made his debut for his new club in the UEFA Europa League match against Derry City when he came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute and scored a goal just ten minutes later.

On June 22, 2019, Kraew joined the Portuguese first division club Gil Vicente FC in a one-year loan deal . In his debut on August 10 (1st matchday) in the surprising 2-1 home win against FC Porto , he scored the winning goal in the 77th minute of the game. In this 2019/20 season he was an undisputed regular player and scored five goals in 27 league appearances by the end of the loan on June 30, 2020.

National team

Kraew played in various national U-teams in Bulgaria. For the A selection of his home country, he made his debut on March 25, 2017 in qualifying for the 2018 World Cup against the Netherlands . On September 6, 2018, he scored twice in the Nations League game against Slovenia .
