The golden bridge badge is an award that the city of Aue awards from 2011 to 2018 to deserving citizens for their voluntary work and their special services to the common good of the city. Cultural, economic, political as well as environmental and sporting activities were taken into account. The candidates are confirmed by the city council of the large district town of Aue. The awards - a certificate, the pin and 250 euros - are presented annually in January at the Mayor's New Year's reception. Multiple needles can be loaned out.

For the year 2016, at the award ceremony on the occasion of the Lord Mayor's New Year's reception , a young entrepreneur prize was awarded for the first time , which is jointly awarded by the municipalities of the Silberberg Association of Cities , the Free Press , Deutsche Bank Aue and the IGA (Industrie- und GBewerbevereinigung Aue).

The prize of 1000 euros is donated by the Industrie- und Gewerbevereinigung Aue eV, Deutsche Bank , the large district town of Aue and the Free Press . In the future, the prize will be awarded to companies throughout Silberberg. The wood sculptor Jesko Lange designed and manufactured the trophy . It was awarded to Enrico Heymann by a jury. The reason is as follows: “The 29-year-old boss of the Auer company Clen Solar founded the company in 2009 with a partner. Clen Solar builds customized photovoltaic systems. 14 employees take care of planning, assembly and maintenance. A branch office is currently being set up in Switzerland. ”The prize winner will donate the prize money to a non-profit organization in Aue.

Instead of the initial 1000 euros in prize money for a winner, the jury decided to award the prize to three young entrepreneurs. The following graduation took place: 750 €, 500 € and 250 € each as a crossed check. In addition, the cup was replaced by one by the wood sculptor Hartmut Rademann from Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. artistically designed trophy for the winner.
