Bragi Þorfinnsson (at the World Chess Federation FIDE Bragi Thorfinnsson ; born April 10, 1981 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic chess player .
He played for Iceland at three Chess Olympiads : 2004 , 2010 and 2016 . He also took part in the European team championships five times (2001 to 2005, 2009 and 2011).
He played in the Four Nations Chess League for the team Jutes of Kent ( 2011/12 and 2012/13 ) and Cheddleton and Leek Chess Club ( 2019/20 ).
In 2003 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 2018.
