Bram Stoker Awards 1999
The 1999 Bram Stoker Award was presented in 2000 for literature from the previous year in twelve categories. At the award ceremony, exceptional contributions to horror literature are honored every year. The Bram Stoker Award has been presented since 1987, and the winners are chosen by election by the members of the Horror Writers Association (HWA).
As in the previous year, the award was in twelve categories; however, two of the prizes were not awarded. As in previous years, several authors have been nominated several times. The winner of the Novelle category, Joe R. Lansdale , was also nominated for the Illustrated History section. The author Tom Piccirilli was nominated in both the novel and the anthology category, but couldn't win any of the categories.
