geography
Saint-Parres-aux-Tertres is located on the Barse River , which flows into an arm of the Seine here , about three kilometers east of Troyes . Saint-Parres-aux-Tertres is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Creney-près-Troyes in the north, Villechétif in the northeast, Thennelières in the east, Ruvigny in the southeast, Rouilly-Saint-Loup in the south and southeast, and Saint-Julien-les-Villas in the Southwest, Troyes in the west and Pont-Sainte-Marie in the northwest.
The Autoroute A26 and the former Route nationale 19 (today's D619) run through the municipality .
