Chessy-les-Prés is located around 30 kilometers southwest of Troyes on the river Bernon , which flows into the Armance on the southwestern municipal boundary . Chessy-les-Prés is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Ervy-le-Châtel in the north and north-west, Davrey in the north and north-east, Vanlay in the east, Bernon in the south-east, Lignières and Marolles-sous-Lignières in the south, Flogny-la-Chapelle in the Southwest, Les Croûtes to the west and southwest and Courtaoult to the west.
