Davrey is located about 29 kilometers south-southwest of Troyes on the river Landion , which flows into the Armance in the municipality . Neighboring communities are Ervy-le-Châtel in the north and west, Auxon in the north and north-west, Montigny-les-Monts in the north and north-east, Avreuil in the east, Vanlay in the east and south-east and Chessy-les-Prés in the south and south-west.
