Bernon is located about 29 kilometers south-southwest of Troyes on the eponymous river Bernon . Bernon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vanlay in the north and east, Coussegrey in the south and south-east, Lignières in the south and west and Chessy-les-Prés in the north-west.
