Luyères is about ten kilometers northeast of Troyes on the A26 autoroute and on the Barbuise river . Luyères is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Charmont-sous-Barbuise in the north, Onjon in the east and northeast, Bouy-Luxembourg in the east, Assencières in the south, Creney-près-Troyes in the southwest and Vailly in the west.
