Prugny is a French commune with 375 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the canton of Aix-en-Othe (until 2015 Estissac ) in the Arrondissement of Troyes . The inhabitants are called Prugnots .

Prugny is about twelve kilometers west-southwest of Troyes . Neighboring municipalities are Messon in the north and west, Torvilliers in the north-east, Saint-Germain in the east, Laines-aux-Bois in the south and south-east, Vauchassis in the south and south-west and Bucey-en-Othe in the west.
