Cussangy is a French commune with 239 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Troyes and the canton of Les Riceys (until 2015 Chaource ). The inhabitants are called Cussangeois .

Cussangy is about 18 miles south of Troyes . The municipality is crossed by the Landion river. Cussangy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Loges-Margueron in the north, Metz-Robert in the north and north-east, Chaource in the north-east, Lagesse in the east, Chesley in the south, Vallières in the west and south-west, Turgy and Vanlay in the west and north-west as well as Les Granges and La Loge-Pomblin to the northwest.
