Avreuil is a French commune with 165 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Troyes and the canton of Les Riceys (until 2015 Chaource ).

Avreuil is located about 25 kilometers south-southwest of Troyes on the Landion river . Avreuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montigny-les-Monts in the north and north-west, Saint-Phal in the north and north-east, La Loge-Pomblin in the east, Vanlay in the south and east and Davrey in the west.
