Bouilly is a commune with 1,074 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Aube in the Grand Est region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Troyes and the canton of Les Riceys (until 2015: canton of Bouilly ). The inhabitants are called bouillerands .

Bouilly is about twelve kilometers southwest of Troyes . Bouilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities Souligny in the north, Saint-Pouange in the northeast, Roncenay in the east, Villery in the southeast, Javernant in the south, Sommeval in the southwest and Vauchassis in the west.

Route nationale 77 runs through the municipality .
