Les Riceys is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Balnot-sur-Laignes in the north, Neuville-sur-Seine in the northeast, Gyé-sur-Seine in the east, Mussy-sur-Seine in the southeast, Molesmes in the south, Bragelogne-Beauvoir in the southwest, and Bagneux -la-Fosse in the west and Avirey-Lingey in the northwest.
