Chennegy is about 19 kilometers west-southwest of Troyes . Neighboring municipalities are Estissac in the north and west, Bucey-en-Othe in the north and northeast, Vauchassis in the east and northeast, Bercenay-en-Othe in the east, Maraye-en-Othe in the south, Saint-Mards-en-Othe in the southwest as well Villemoiron-en-Othe to the west and south-west.
