Chennegy is a French commune with 438 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the canton of Aix-en-Othe (until 2015 Estissac ) in the Arrondissement of Troyes . The inhabitants are called Caviots .
geography
Chennegy is about 19 kilometers west-southwest of Troyes . Neighboring municipalities are Estissac in the north and west, Bucey-en-Othe in the north and northeast, Vauchassis in the east and northeast, Bercenay-en-Othe in the east, Maraye-en-Othe in the south, Saint-Mards-en-Othe in the southwest as well Villemoiron-en-Othe to the west and south-west.
