Vauchassis is about fifteen kilometers south-southwest of Troyes . Neighboring communities are Bucey-en-Othe in the north and north-west, Prugny in the north and north-east, Laines-aux-Bois and Souligny in the east, Bouilly in the south-east, Sommeval in the south, Maraye-en-Othe in the south-west, Bercenay-en-Othe in the West and Chennegy to the west and northwest.
