Ervy-le-Châtel is located around 30 kilometers southwest of Troyes on the Armance . Ervy-le-Châtel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Eaux-Puiseaux and Auxon in the north, Davrey in the east, Chessy-les-Prés in the south and south-east, Courtaoult in the south-west, Montfey in the west and Vosnon in the north-west.
