Vaupoisson is a French commune with 120 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). it belongs to the arrondissement of Troyes and the canton of Arcis-sur-Aube (until 2015 Ramerupt ). The inhabitants are called Vaupoissonois .
geography
Vaupoisson is about 26 kilometers north-northeast of Troyes on the Aube , which borders the municipality in the northeast. Vaupoisson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Nabord-sur-Aube in the north and north-west, Vinets in the north, Isle-Aubigny in the north-east, Ortillon in the south and east, Voué in the south-west, Saint-Remy-sous-Barbuise in the west and south-west as well Mesnil-la-Comtesse to the west and north-west.
