Brandon A. Larracuente (born November 16, 1994 in Mount Pleasant , New York ) is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent. He gained notoriety mainly through his roles in the series Dead Girls Don't Lie and Bloodline .

life and career

Brandon Larracuente was born in the Pleasantville neighborhood of Mount Pleasant, the son of two police officers. At the age of four he was already on the theater stage in his hometown. When he was eight he appeared in the play Desire on Off-Broadway . He was also seen in commercials. His parents later moved with him to Clermont , Florida, where he starred in Orlando for a production of the children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the theater. Larracuente graduated from high school in Florida and only then decided to work full-time as an actor. Part of the hesitation was because he felt ashamed of his appearances in commercials.

He took on his first role in front of the camera in 2008 as a teenager with an appearance in the short film Havana . In 2011 he played the role of Christopher in the independent film Missing 24 Hours . Also after that he appeared in independent films. In 2015, after moving to the West Coast of Los Angeles, he was cast as Ben Rayburn in the original Netflix production Bloodline . In this role he appeared in all of the three seasons produced. In 2016 he was cast in a small role in the movie Max Steel . A year later he was seen in the comedy film Baywatch . Larracuente was a fan of lead actor and former wrestling star Dwayne Johnson from early childhood . When he was six, his father took him to a Johnson fight in New York's Madison Square Garden . Also in 2017 he appeared as Mike in the movie Bright and was also not cast as Jeff Atkins in a supporting role in the series Dead Girls Lies . He played this until 2018. Both productions were also in the Netflix originals. In 2020 he took on the lead role of Emilio Acosta in the series Party of Five , which is based on the series of the same name from 1994 to 2000 .

In addition to English, Larracuente speaks fluent Spanish and got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Jazmin Garcia in November 2019.
