Brede Sogn is a parish in North Schleswig in southern Denmark . Until 1970, the parish belonged to Harde Tønder, Højer og Lø Herred in what was then the Tondern department ; with the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was incorporated into the Bredebro commune in the Sønderjyllands Amt , which was newly established in 1970 , and the commune, in turn, went with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 with other municipalities in the newly founded municipality of Tondern , which belongs to the Syddanmark region.

The parish community currently has 1,871 residents (as of January 1, 2020).
