Brian Eugen Poth (born June 9, 1975 in Tulare , California ) is an American actor , best known for his role as Tyler Jenson from CSI: Miami .

life and career

Brian Poth performed as a dancer on the children's show Kids Incorporated at a young age . For this he had to be driven to Los Angeles every week . After graduating from high school, he moved to the city permanently, earning degrees in film production and television screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University in 1997 .

He played his first major guest roles in 1998 in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and in 2001 in Six Feet Under . Two years later, Poth was cast in the recurring role of Tyler Jenson in CSI: Miami . He held this role for 30 episodes. Since then, other guest appearances have followed in series such as Prison Break , CSI: NY , True Blood , Bones , Criminal Minds and Aquarius .
