Britta Schellenberg

Britta Schellenberg (* 1972 in Berlin ) is a German political scientist and right-wing extremism researcher .

Life

Schellenberg studied German , English and Jewish studies in Heidelberg, London and Berlin (MA). Since 2002 the research assistant at the Center for Applied Political Research (CAP) at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . She worked in New York and Bosnia and was then at Wolfgang Benz in the subject Modern History at the Center for Research on Antisemitism (NDE) of the Technical University of Berlin to Dr. phil. PhD.

Her research focus is the subject area "Strategies against right-wing extremism". Schellenberg published several works and published a. a. in From Politics and Contemporary History and International Politics . She is consulted by German and international media (including Bayerischer Rundfunk , Deutsche Welle , WDR , ZDF and SWR ), initiatives (including Netz gegen Nazis ) and organizations (including the Federal Agency for Civic Education ) as a right-wing extremism expert.
