At the beginning of 2014, an environmentally friendly LNG ferry of the "Projects Pegasis" for 270 million euros was conditionally commissioned from STX France , but the preliminary contract was not carried out. Instead, in December 2016, the Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft received the order to build the Honfleur ferry . It was originally supposed to be delivered in June 2019, later delivery was postponed to 2021. In June 2020 the client terminated the contract.
In autumn 2020 AVIC-Weihai will deliver the Galicia to Stena RoRo and charter it to Brittany Ferries. The two sister ships Salamanca and Santoña are due to be delivered in 2021 and 2023 .
