Brynden George Trawick (* 23. October 1989 in Marietta , Georgia ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He last played for the Baltimore Ravens as safety and is mainly used in the special teams .

college

Trawick first attended Michigan State University , but moved after two years, as he was very little used by their team, the Spartans, first to the Northeast Mississippi Community College and then to Troy University . He played college football for the Trojans there from 2011 to 2012 and was able to set 206 tackles and achieve three interceptions in 24 games . He also managed a touchdown .

NFL

Baltimore Ravens

Trawick was not considered in the 2013 NFL Draft , but was signed as a free agent by the Baltimore Ravens shortly thereafter . In the first three games of the season he was used in the special teams, but was then released from the team and taken over to the practice squad the next day, only to be reactivated after a month. After three more games, his rookie season came to an end with an ankle injury. In 2014 he was able to further distinguish himself as a special teamer and also made his first appearances in the defensive backfield of the Ravens. In 2015 he ran for the first and so far only time in his professional career as a starter . With nine tackles, he led the special teams statistics of his team.

Oakland Raiders

In 2016 he joined the Oakland Raiders . In his new team, too, he was mainly called up as a special team and came to a total of 14 tackles. He also played safety in 15 games , but only made short appearances here.

Tennessee Titans

In 2017, Trawick signed a $ 4.75 million two-year deal with the Tennessee Titans . Again, his skills were in great demand in the special teams. While he was only used for four snaps on defense throughout the season , he was on the field on 399 special teams plays, more than any other player in the league. With his 17 special teams tackles, he was also appointed to the Pro Bowl for the first time .

Baltimore Ravens

On August 1, 2019, the Ravens announced the return of Trawick to the Ravens team.
